Below is a list of holidays observed by Nebraska 811. Nebraska811 can receive locate requests 24/7/265.  A locate request must be placed at least two business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) prior to excavation. If any such holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be considered a holiday. If a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed.

  • Memorial Day – Last Monday in May
  • Juneteenth – June 19th
  • Independence Day – July 4
  • Labor Day – 1st Monday in Sept.
  • Columbus Day – 2nd Monday in Oct.
  • Veterans Day – November 11
  • Thanksgiving – 4th Thursday in Nov.
  • The Day After Thanksgiving – 4th Friday in Nov.
